Let us take you through our simple ordering process so that you can clear your doubts if any.
Setting Up an Account
Registering on gcartonline.com is optional. You can continue shopping as a Guest shopper and have your orders delivered to the address you mention at the checkout.
However, there are advantages of registering on gcartonline.com.
- Registering allows you to shop without having to add the delivery address every time you shop.
- Registered users get reward points for every purchase and same can be viewed in their account.
- Registered users can view their purchase and return history in their account.
- Please note gcartonline.com doesn’t store any credit card or debit card information of any shoppers.
- Also, gcartonline.com doesn’t use the shopper contact details for any telemarketing activities.
Browsing the Online Store
For browsing the products on the online store use the main navigation menu at the top of the home page, which has the names of the different product categories.
To reach the landing page for each category, click on the title of that category. For example, to reach the Ikkat Sarees landing page, click on 'Ikkat Sarees’ under the ‘Products’ in the main menu. Once you reach a landing page, you can click on the images of the listed products under that category.
Each sub category of products can be sorted based on price, craft, material, color and how long the product has been on the site.
Once you see an individual item in this menu you may click on that item to get more product details, descriptions, specifications and closer images.
The top of each product page has a trail or breadcrumb, which shows where you have been. To return to a previous page or subcategory, you can click on this trail which will bring you back.
You can also go to the top Navigation Bar to move to a different product category.
You can also browse the products of your interest by clicking on the product images under ‘New Arrivals’ and ‘Featured Products’
Searching the Online Store
Search button is provided at the top of most of the pages.
You can search based on product title or key words like ‘dhakai’ and refine your search by sub category of products. You can use advanced search options based on craft, material, color etc.
Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart
When you are ready to add an item to your shopping cart, you need to check the color, size (if these attributes are applicable) and quantity. Then click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button.
A number icon will appear next to the shopping cart at the top right corner informing you that the item is in the cart. You may choose to continue shopping or checkout as per your requirements.
If you change your mind and want to continue browsing, you may do so at any moment during the checkout process.
You can continue to add items to your shopping cart until you are ready to Checkout.
Adding Items to Your Wishlist
While browsing the products on gcartonline.com you may add an item that you like for future buying in your Wishlist. A number icon will appear next to the Wishlist cart at the top right corner informing you that the item is in the Wishlist cart.
You may choose to continue shopping or checkout from Wishlist as per your requirements.
You can continue to add items to your Wishlist until you are ready to Checkout.
For registered users, the items in Wishlist can be seen under their Account on later log-ins also.
While browsing the products on gcartonline.com you may add up to four items from the same product category for comparison.
The comparison icon is shown as 2 arrows on the main page and in the product details page.
On hovering on the product images, you can see the same comparison arrows.
You may choose to continue shopping or checkout from Compare page as per your requirements.
For registered users, the items in Compare bucket can be seen on later log-ins also.
Reviewing and Changing the Items in Your Shopping Cart
You can review and/or change the items in your shopping cart at any time.
To delete an item, simply click on the cross.
To change the quantity, simply change the quantity by clicking on + or – button.
Your order value will be recalculated each time you change the quantity automatically.
Once you are satisfied with your order, you can start the checking out process by clicking on “Proceed to Checkout” on the Shopping Cart page. This takes you to the Checkout page.
On the Checkout Page, you can choose to checkout either as a guest, or as a registered customer.
To checkout as a registered customer, click on the “Returning Customer” login and enter your email Id and password.
To checkout as a new customer, create a new account on gcartonline.com.
If you checkout as a registered customer, then the billing and shipping addresses from your account, will be populated in the Billing Address and Shipping Address sections of the page.
If you choose to checkout as a guest, you will need to enter this information yourself.
Please note you cannot ship to a Post Office Box or to an address outside India.
Please review all details and make changes if required and then click on the “Continue” button to confirm your order.
For payments, you will be redirected to secured payment gateway of CCAvenue® for domestic orders.
Enter your credit or debit card information or choose your bank for net banking transactions or e-wallet and click “Submit” bottom on the page.
Depending on the type of card you own you might be directed to another site to verify your online password.
Your payment is processed in real time and within a few seconds you will receive a confirmation email from us.
For Cash on Delivery (CoD) payment, our delivery partner, FedEx® or Delhivery®, will collect the payment at the time of delivery.
Please note CoD option is not available for all PIN codes.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from us with the tracking number.
We will send the tax invoice along with your order.
